Hari, Door-Let’s founder and first user, began with a recurring need: one reliable view of rent, renters, payments and follow-up for his property in India.
The problem
The work is spread across bank alerts, WhatsApp, cash notes and spreadsheets. Each place holds one part of the answer, but none shows the whole portfolio as it stands today.
Door-Let connects the property, unit, renter, charge, payment and next action so a landlord can see what happened without reconstructing the month by hand.
Built against real work
The first portfolio has two buildings and twenty units in India. It gave Door-Let a real operating test for rent collection, partial payments, vacancies, reminders and documents.
That is why payments settle against named charges, reminders wait for landlord approval, and card scanning includes server-side masking of detected identity numbers. Read the limits, including how leases are handled.
